Au10tix Verification

Instructions

To complete the Proof of Identify and Proof of Address tasks for semi-electronic applications, clients must submit a photo of themselves and a photo of their ID.  Advisors can then use the Au10tix verification system, accessible from the Application Status page. Alternatively, Advisors can email instructions to clients who wish to complete the Au10tix process themselves, ideally using a mobile device. Advisors can also choose to submit the documents via traditional upload.

Note:  Though Au10tix can be used for all account types, it is a requirement to use it for accounts under review for fraud.

To Use Au10tix as the Verification Method

  1. On the Application Status page you will see the following:

  2. Click Verify Identity and provide the ID detail.

  3. You can now choose either to proceed with Au10tix (“Streamlined Verification”) or use the traditional manual upload option. If you choose Au10tix you can either complete the application yourself by scanning the QR code, or send the client an email with instructions on how they can complete it themselves.

    If you decide to change methods, return to the Application Status page and click Verify Identity again.
