Digital Security Card+

Instructions

Accounts with equity of at least USD 1 million (or equivalent) are eligible for a Digital Security Card+ (DSC+). The device is the same size and shape as a credit card and is used to generate a login Challenge Code for use when logging in to your account.

Clients using the DSC+ are not limited on their maximum withdrawal per day or over a five-day period.

In most instances, our Client Services team will directly contact you regarding your eligibility for a Digital Security Card+.

Requesting a Digital Security Card+

You must be enrolled in our Secure Login System to request a DSC+. If you are not enrolled in our Secure Login System:

  • Log into your account to enroll in the Secure Login System.

  • Click User ("Head and Shoulders” icon in the top right corner) > Settings > Security > Secure Login System. The Request Security Device page appears by default.

  • Do one of the following:

    • Select the first option to enroll in the IBKR Mobile Authentication (IB Key) app.

    • Select the second option if you do not want to use IBKR Mobile Authentication (IB Key).

    • Select the third option if you have a security device with a different username.

  • Click Continue.

After enrolling in the program, you can request a Digital Security Card+.

  • Log into your account

  • Click User (“Head and Shoulders” icon in the top right corner) > Settings > Secure Login System. The Secure Login System page appears by default.

  • Click Request Physical Device.

  • Review and confirm your address. If needed, click Change Address if you need to update the shipping address.

  • Review your request then click Continue to confirm.
