Trade with IBot

Instructions

IBot is a natural-language interface that understands commands in plain English. Simply type a command, and IBot will help you create and submit orders without having to navigate further.

  1. Tap the Trade The trade button for the Android Phone icon and then select Ask IBot at the bottom of the screen.
  2. In the Ask IBot text field at the bottom of the screen, enter a command, for example "trade 200 shares ibkr."

  3. If there are two different contracts that match your request, please select the desired one.

  4. Verify that IBot's response is accurate and reflects your request, and modify parameters as needed.
  5. Use the "Next Steps" buttons (1=Submit, 2=Cancel) to continue.

In addition to trading, you can use IBot to check your account data, see calendar events, make changes to your account, manage funds, view charts, see fundamentals data, and more.

To view a chart, simply ask IBot for the symbol and time period, for example "chart one month IBKR."
