Allocation Goals

View your current vs. target asset and sub-asset class allocations for seamless portfolio rebalancing. Once goals are configured, you can run the Allocation Goals report to identify over and underweighted asset/sub-asset classes vs. the configured goal.

To configure Allocation Goals, please take the steps outlined below.

  1. Select the Planning tab at the top of the PortfolioAnalyst page.

  2. Select Allocation Goals.

  3. Click the plus (+) icon in the top right corner to add an allocation goal.

  4. Enter a Goal Name and from the drop down, configure the report by Asset Class or Sub-Asset Class.

  5. Set your goal either by Percentage (%) or Dollar Amount ($).

    Note: If choosing a percentage (%) goal, the total must equal 100%

  6. Click Continue to save your Allocation Goal.

Notes

  • If goals are not configured this report is not available.

  • If goals are configured by percent then the amount will be blank in the Goal and +/- columns.

  • If goals are configured by sub-asset class, asset class will be derived.

  • Actual holdings will always be displayed for asset, sub-asset class, amount and percent.

  • Analysis period: As of last business day so that current asset and sub-asset class goal percentages will always be reflected in the report. As a result, historical goal percentages are not supported. The report is only included for time periods that include last business day.
