Preview Version 0.06: Attached Orders, Trade Notifications, Fundamentals Explorer, News & Markets
Version 0.06 of IBKR Desktop includes the following enhancements.
Attached Stop Loss and Profit Taker Orders
You can now attach stop loss and/or profit taker orders to your primary order. To attach orders, click Buy or Sell and expand the "Attached" section below the order parameters.
Trade Notifications
Now see pop-up Trade Notifications when an order fills. Trade Notifications display at the bottom of the right-side Price Panel. To see multiple notifications click "Show More." Select a notification to open it in the Orders & Trades tab in the Portfolio.
Fundamentals Explorer
Now see all fundamentals for an instrument from the Fundamentals Explorer tab in the Quote page. Use sub-tabs to see key fundamentals data including Key Ratios, Financials, Analyst Ratings and Forecast and much more.
News & Markets
Access news, research, and new markets from the News page in the left navigation panel. Create custom feed views of the news you want to read, in the layout style that you prefer.

Custom views let you browse magazine-style, or view headlines for focused skimming. To toggle between views, use the Layout icon on the far right.

Use Advanced Search to find news by Provider, Importance, Source, Asset Class, Article Length (read time), type of media, language, date published and more! Once you've created the perfect collection, save the search to view updated news with the same set of criteria at any time.

Use Browse criteria to filter news by asset class and topic preference. Tabbed filters in Portfolio and Watchlist feeds that let you see just the types of news format you prefer, like traditional breaking news, institutional research, or opinions and commentary.
