Risk Scores

Instructions

The Risk Scores tool is designed to help you determine each client’s risk capacity, need, and tolerance so you can select the most suitable investments for them . The data is derived from their answers to the custom-designed Risk Questionnaire. By default, each answer is assigned a Risk Score Value on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 indicating lowest risk and 5 indicating highest. You can modify the default value for any or all individual questions in a completed questionnaire, or modify the overall scale and reassign individual values.

The Risk Scores tool is comprised of these main functions:

• Enable IBKR Risk Scores

• Create the Questionnaire

• Edit a Questionnaire

• Modify Risk Score Values

• Define the Score Calculations

• Distribute a Questionnaire to Clients

• View Client Scores

 

1. Click Menu in the top left corner > Administration & Tools > Risk Scores.
