Reactivating IBKR Mobile Authentication

If you have purchased a new phone or reinstalled the IBKR Mobile app, you can reactivate two-factor authentication without having to contact Client Services if:

  • You uninstalled/reactivated IBKR Mobile on the same phone that is registered with your account.

Select your device for instructions on reactivating the app.

You are reactivating IBKR Mobile on a different phone because you have replaced the device or want to transfer IBKR Mobile to a different phone

  • Android: Access to the mobile phone number originally used for the app activation

  • Apple iOS: Smartphone PIN / Fingerprint / Face ID + Access to the mobile phone number originally used for the app activation

Note: You will always be able to reactivate/transfer the IBKR Mobile Authentication when you possess a Digital Security Card+ for your account.
