Operating System Requirements

In order to activate and use passkeys, your device's operating system must meet the minimum requirements outlined below. Moreover, your screen lock must be set to use PIN , Pattern or biometric (Face ID, Fingerprint).

Windows	Windows 11 v22H2 with KB5030310 Notes: Physical passkeys are as well supported on Windows 10 v1903 or higher, although we recommend Windows 11 for a smoother passkey management Software passkeys support on Windows 10 v22H2 depends on your hardware and software capabilities and configurations and it is not guaranteed to work Windows Hello passkeys requires a machine with a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 chip and at least one unlock mechanism among PIN, Fingerprint reader, Infrared (IR) camera for facial recognition
macOS	macOS 13 (Ventura)
Apple iOS	iOS 16 or iPadOS16
Android	Android 9 (Pie)
