Close/Convert Currency Balances
The Market Value - Real FX section of the Account Window allows you to convert/close non-currency balances. To do so, please take the steps outline below. To manually convert currency, please click here.

Navigate to the Account Window by selecting the Account button in the top left corner of Mosaic or Classic > Account Window.

Scroll down to the Market Value - Real FX Balance section.

Right-click on the non-base currency and select Close Currency Balance.

The order will automatically populate in the Classic
Close Currency on Order Entry Window

Enter the currency pair in the Order Entry window.

Select your action to Buy or Sell.
Note: When clicking Buy, you are buying the first currency and selling the other. In the example above, we will be buying USD and selling CAD. There is 1 currency pair per conversion, therefore if you were looking to Buy CAD and Sell USD, you will press the sell button on the above currency pair.

Enter the additional order parameters and select Transmit to place this currency order.
