Trading

The Trading panel on the Account Settings screen lets you configure the following account settings:

• Dividend Election - Sign up to automatically invest cash dividends from common and preferred stocks in the underlying stock.

• Institutional Services - Sign up for our clearing, prime broker and execution services.

• Open An Additional Account - Create new accounts that are linked to your existing account.

• Stock Yield Enhancement Program - This program offers participating accounts the opportunity to earn additional income from fully paid shares by allowing IBKR to borrow those shares from you in exchange for collateral, and then lend the shares to traders who want to sell them short and are willing to pay interest to borrow them.

• Internalization - Opt-Out of internalizing trading execution.

• Virtual FX Tracking - When enabled, FX holdings are displayed as symbols.

• Trading Permissions - Trading permissions specify the products you can trade and where you can trade them.
