IBKR Mobile boasts an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface, but we've included a few tips and tricks to help you along.

Trading

Quickly create a bracket order around an existing position or a working order to protect profits and limit potential loss. Read more.

Currently order presets are inherited from and can only be modified in TWS for Desktop. Presets will be applied to mobile orders when applicable.

To bypass order confirmation in BookTrader, tap the configuration gear icon in the top right corner of the order screen and disable Confirm Order. Once this is defined it will be applied to all subsequent BookTrader orders. Read more.

Change the color theme from light to dark and back again. From the menu tap Settings then tap Display from the App Theme section tap Dark, Light, or System.

Tap the magnifying glass "Search" icon from any screen to search for a financial instrument. Read more.

The Tab Bar appears along the bottom of the application and includes shortcuts to a default selection of tools. Change tool icons that appear in the tab bar by tapping "Edit" from the More menu.

Use the Simplified User Interface if you prefer using buttons to submit your orders versus the contemporary slider . To change, from the three dotted lines in the top right corner of the Order Preview screen, tap the toggle icon to the right of Slide to Submit.

Read-Only Access allows you to view all of your account data and real-time market data without having to log in. It will not allow you to trade, and will require that you complete the login process if you initiate a trade. Read more.

You have a 20-minute grace period to leave the mobile app and remain connected before you are required to complete the full login process. To enjoy 12 to 30 hours of secure trading access without having to complete the full login process, enable Touch ID or pattern security. Read more.
